This County project, in the Dona and Roberts Bays Watershed, is a plan to offset County infrastructure impacts to wetlands in a meaningful, regional context. Nearly 140-acres including pasture, pine flatwoods, remnant scrub, forested wetlands, and riparian fringe have been subjected to a comprehensive design involving preservation, restoration, enhancement, and wetland creation to generate wetland mitigation credits for expected impacts.
