Lifeguard hours change for Sarasota County's guarded beaches

Sarasota County's beach lifeguard operationalhours will change on Saturday, Sept. 8, due to the end of summer and the close of the Labor Day weekend.

Beginning on Sept. 8, beach lifeguards will be on duty from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily on Sarasota County's guarded beaches, which are Lido Beach, Siesta Beach, Nokomis Beach, North Jetty Beach, Venice Beach and Manasota Beach.
