Sarasota Bay Watch’s 9th annual fundraiser is celebrating this summer’s clam restoration efforts! Our community-driven scallop program has expanded to include southern hardshell clam restoration!

Hardshell clams are an important part of our bay’s ecosystem, have great economic value, very few natural predators, are more resistant to red tide than other shellfish, and can live for 30 years or longer! Over the summer months of 2018 Sarasota Bay Watch has released approximately 250,000 clams into Sarasota Bay!

To maintain this vigorous level of restoration Sarasota Bay Watch needs funds to raise the clams and scallops that replenish natural populations in our local waters. We invite you to come out to Scallopalooza to enjoy good food, good company, and help us raise funds to continue this great cause!

Get your tickets today before they sell out! Visit the Sarasota Bay Watch event page for more details. Interested in becoming a corporate sponsor? Check out our sponsorship page for details.
